2018-2019 Chromebook Info

  • Teachers won't be able to enroll the device in the classroom management system (LanSchool), which helps to ensure the safety and integrity of your student while online during school hours.
  • Parents and students will still need to sign-off on the additional agreements in Jeffco Connect before their device will be allowed to access Jeffco's Instructional network.
  • Educational apps cannot be automatically pushed out to the device, so students will need to add them to their device on their own.
  • No repair or support is provided through the school or district.

If you choose not to purchase through Dunstan, any laptops, chromebooks, and tablets are acceptable.  Keep in mind a decent screen size and the ability to do school work is essential...and it's difficult to write a paper and do research without a keyboard.

--ALL Students & Parents (whether buying a device through Dunstan or providing your own) MUST Complete this step AFTER August 1st: Sign off on the BYOD Agreement in Jeffco Connect each year before devices will be allowed to access district networks. (READ the information before signing off.)
